Kent E. Yinger, M.D.
Dr. Yinger is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon who specializes is all aspects of sports medicine injuries including shoulders and knees. He was born and raised in southern California. He received his M.D. degree from the University of California, Davis. Following medical school, Dr. Yinger completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at UC Davis. He then followed this with a Trauma fellowship also at UC Davis, and a Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy fellowship in Santa Monica, California where he was a team physician for Pepperdine University and assisted with the men’s U.S. national team. He is the athletic department team physician for Santa Rosa Junior College as well as Windsor High School. He also is the team physician for the professional soccer team, the Sonoma County Sol. He is married with three children. He is an Iron Man Triathlete and does triathlon races in and around Sonoma County. |
